Contract time has come for another one of the Cowboys recently drafted stud offensive linemen. This time, it will be 2013 first round pick and starting center Travis Frederick that plays in his contract year in 2016.
The ninth offensive linemen selected in that round, the Cowboys have gotten great value out of the center from Wisconsin – who’s started a full 16 games each year since 2013.
Best reach-blocking center in the NFL, Travis Frederick. This is pretty https://t.co/ViI5Zm7Y5I

Travis Frederick
I don’t think there is any question that Travis Frederick will be a Dallas Cowboy past 2016. The pride of this team is the offensive line, particularly Tyron Smith, Zack Martin and Frederick.
The three first round picks should be here to stay, with Smith already locked up and Martin signed through 2017.
Assuming Travis stays healthy and can play in another 16 games, Cowboys fans can look forward to more time with Tony Romo taking snaps from #72 in the future.
This rounds out key offensive players who will be playing in a contract year for the Dallas Cowboys in 2016. Next up here at Inside the Star, I’ll shift over to the defense and begin to break down the players with expiring contracts for Rod Marinelli.
