Al-Quadid Muhammad, Miami (6’3″, 250)
Al-Quadid Muhammad is a player that I think a lot of teams want to see at the NFL combine. The most important thing for him at the combine is probably the interview process.
Muhammad has been suspended two out of his three years at Miami, so he will definitely have to answer some tough questions in order for an NFL team to take a chance on him. The Dallas Cowboys have been willing to take such chances in the past, and in the later rounds of the NFL Draft, Muhammad falls into that category.
Despite his off the field problems, there’s something there to work with. The Cowboys could use one of their seventh round draft picks to obtain of services or they could wait and try to pick him up as a undrafted free agent.
I will personally be keeping a close eye on him because there is not a lot of game film to accurately scout him as a player, but there is something intriguing about him nonetheless.
