According to Brandon George from the Dallas Morning News, the Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms with back up offensive tackle Darrion Weems and starting left guard Ronald Leary.
The bigger signing of the two would have to be starting left guard Ronald Leary. Leary’s play on the offensive line this past season was by far the best showing of his young career. Leary helped guide the way for league leading rusher DeMarco Murray and helped keep quarterback Tony Romo upright.
That Darrion Weems was retained could indicate the team is looking for him to take over the swing tackle position that Jermey Parnell has played the last two seasons.
Parnell and starting right tackle Doug Free are both free agents and a lot of people around the league feel Parnell was good enough to start at right tackle for most teams in the NFL.
