Later today, from 3-6 CST, I will be back on WMSC for my weekly show “Upon Further Review”. The first few weeks of the show have been a success, as we have covered all kinds of topics in the world of sports.
Of course, football has been a focal point of the program – with Staff Writer Walter Yeates joining me twice. Hear his appearances here:
Walter will once again be joining me this week to discuss the NFC East. Among the things we will discuss are –
Can the Cowboys knock off the Patriots?
Obviously, this is the headline matchup in the division this week and all eyes will be on Brandon Weeden and the Cowboys to try to bounce back against the undefeated Patriots.
A win would boost them into the bye to prepare for a divisional showdown with the Giants. A loss will send them to 2-3, marking their third straight.
Are the Giants a legitimate threat?
Through four short weeks, it appears the Giants may be the biggest threat to the Cowboys’ NFC East title. We will talk about their recent win in Buffalo, featuring the antics of Odell Beckham Jr., as the team prepares for Sunday Night Football against the 49ers.
Is this a must win for Chip Kelly?
The Eagles avoided a disastrous 0-3 start, only to implode against the Redskins and fall to 1-3. With Chip Kelly’s job status forever in question, would a home loss to the Saints spell the end of his experiment?
We will also talk about the comments made by former Cowboy DeMarco Murray, and his situation in the crowded Philly backfield.
Can the Redskins upset the Falcons?
The Falcons have torn through the NFC East on their way to a 4-0 start. With wins against the Giants, Cowboys and Eagles, only Kirk Cousins and the mighty Redskins stand in Atlanta’s way of a divisional sweep and 5-0 start.
Coming off of a win against the Eagles, does Washington have any real chance to upset the Falcons on the road and contend for the NFC East?
Of course, what makes the show great is the fans! I enjoy nothing more than interacting with fans, so DO NOT hesitate to call the show at 973-655-4256. You can also send me a tweet @UFRWMSC or @WMSCSports, and email the station at studio@wmscradio.com.
