Dallas Cowboys Cheapest Home Game Until Thanksgiving This Weekend Against New England Patriots

The Dallas Cowboys have yet to win a game when Brandon Weeden has been the starting quarterback this season, and it isn’t expected to get easier against the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots this Sunday.

It’s not that the Cowboys have been playing poorly, they just haven’t found a way to close out games in the second half.

They led the Atlanta Falcons 28-17 at halftime two weeks ago before being outscored 22-0 in the second half, mainly thanks to the stellar play of Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. The Cowboys followed that up with a Sunday Night Football overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints on the road. After showing some grit by going down the field and evening up the score on an improbable fourth-down pass with little time remaining, the Cowboys got caught on a wheel route by C.J. Spiller during the second play of overtime to move to a 2-2 record overall.

After giving up 39 points to the Falcons and 26 points to the Saints, the Cowboys have to defend against the team that leads the NFL in many major offensive categories. Tom Brady has yet to be picked off this year, having nine touchdown passes and zero interceptions, as the Patriots continue to create matchup nightmares with Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman. The Patriots lead the NFL in points per game, total offense per game, passing yards per game and other categories.

New England is coming off their bye week as well, as the Cowboys are hoping rust may be the only thing to slow down the Patriots.

Cowboys tickets on the secondary market have an average price of $335.95 with a get-in price of $159, according to TiqIQ.com. It’s the team’s cheapest game until their November 15 contest on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and their cheapest home game until November 26 against the Carolina Panthers.

With it being a cheaper home affair, it may be an opportune time for out-of-town Cowboys fans to get to a game. Hipmunk.com has Dallas flight deals to appease the budget of any traveling fan, including hotels in Dallas on the cheap through Hipmunk as well.

The Cowboys are doing their best while waiting out the returns of Tony Romo and Dez Bryant, and are still tied atop the NFC East standings with the New York Giants and Washington Redskins, who are all .500.
