Sean and Shane dropped their opinions on who should start this week now that Joe Randle is quickly approaching his end of days as a Dallas Cowboy. Now here’s why the Coaching Staff is sticking with DMC.
Why Mess With It Just When It Starts Working?!
The Cowboys Offensive Line played well for the entire game, the Running Back didn’t attempt to cut everything back, and the Cowboys are about to face a stout Seahawks Defense.
Running the ball will be a necessity in this game which makes making a drastic change at the Running Back position foolish. McFadden did what Randle never could do, seize the position. He finished runs, picked up blitzes and played with intensity.
I’ve made the case since Training Camp that he’s the most complete back on the team and he finally produced for an entire game.
It would be absolutely foolish to not take the majority of the snaps for the remainder of the season. Christine Michael should spell McFadden when he’s tired, but the Running Back Committee experiment is over.
As it should be.
McFadden is hungry to prove that he wasn’t the problem in Oakland and that he still has that early 1st round talent.
He is the most talented back on this team and he will rejuvenate this Dallas Cowboys running attack and prove that he’s been the best Running Back on the roster since the day he was signed.
