We at Inside The Star would like to extend our sincerest sympathies to the friends and family of Tray Walker. Cowboys fans aren’t a stranger to tragedy as we lost one of our own, Jerry Brown, in 2012. We certainly sympathize with Ravens Nation over this loss.
It certainly seems to happen way too often that we hear of players losing their lives in some way, shape, or form, but nevertheless, it’s never easier when it happens.
Tray Walker grew up in the Miami, FL area where he played football at Miami Northwestern High School with teammates Teddy Bridgewater and Amari Cooper. He went on to play defensive back at Texas Southern University where he starred as an interception machine, tallying 9 interception in 4 seasons. Walker was drafted in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.
Once again, we send our thoughts and prayers to Tray, his family, his friends, the Ravens organization, and all of Ravens Nation.
As a result of his injuries, and despite the best efforts by doctors in surgery overnight, Tray Walker was pronounced dead this evening. Rest in peace, Tray.
