Morris Claiborne put together his best season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2015, finally living up to the expectations put on him when the team traded up from the 14th pick in the 2012 draft in order to grab the LSU product at #6 overall.
While it came in a lost 4 win season for Dallas, Claiborne’s performance earned him a new one year deal with a base of $3 million for 2016. Claiborne, along with this entire organization, understands the importance of this upcoming season – as well as the need that still exists in the secondary if this team is going to return to the top of the NFC East and contend in the playoffs.
That is why Morris Claiborne took to Twitter last night to publicly show his support for the best defensive back in the upcoming draft class to find a star on the side of his helmet come the first round, sharing this picture of Florida State’s Jalen Ramsey.

Claiborne is the second Cowboys player to recently try to help Will McClay and Co. fill out their draft card for the fourth overall pick. Dez Bryant also shared his thoughts on the versatile Ramsey joining Cowboys Nation earlier in the month:
Dez Bryant says he'd take Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey if he had the call for the Cowboys' fourth overall pick.

Our Brian Martin recently compared Jalen Ramsey to Byron Jones in this article, and who doesn’t want another Byron Jones for the Cowboys?
The team will expect Claiborne to play at the same level he did in 2015, and returning Orlando Scandrick from injury also goes a long way in revamping this secondary. However, from the cornerback position, this team still lacks that impact play maker.
Jalen Ramsey is certainly that guy, capable of bringing crowds to their feet while changing the momentum of the game in an instant at any given moment.
#TeamRamsey is growing in numbers and strength around Cowboys Nation, and they now have Morris Claiborne on board with the pick. The Cowboys will go on the clock with the fourth overall pick in just 27 days…and I for one cannot wait!
I want Jalen Ramsey on the Cowboys more than I could ever describe in 140 characters.
