The Dallas Cowboys have signed two more of their nine total rookies from the 2016 draft. Quarterback Dak Prescott and defensive end Charles Tapper have inked their rookie deals with the team.

Prescott will receive $2.72 million on his four year contract. The Mississippi State product has already had some pressure put on him with the Dallas Cowboys, as the coaching staff appears poised to enter training camp with Kellen Moore as the primary backup QB.
Even behind Moore, Jameill Showers has put his name into the competition at signal caller for the Cowboys with Prescott.
Whatever happens with Dak in 2016, it is important to remember that he is with this team as a long term investment, now officially under contract with the silver and blue!
Officially official.

Charles Tapper’s contract will earn him $2.95 million, and Cowboys’ fans everywhere are hoping that he is worth every penny of that and more for Rod Marinelli and this defense. As the only edge rusher brought in by Dallas in the draft, Tapper will have a chance to contribute immediately, especially in the first four weeks of the season with the absence of Randy Gregory and DeMarcus Lawrence.
Signed.
