NFL: 3 Cowboys Super Bowls Coming to YouTube in August

Kevin Brady

It’s been a rough week for the Dallas Cowboys. The league suspended Rolando McClain, upheld a suspension for DeMarcus Lawrence upon appeal, and had already suspended Randy Gregory. This means the Cowboys will now be without three projected starters on defense for the first four games of this season.

Four games that include pivotal divisional match-ups with the New York Giants and Washington Redskins, by the way.

Understandably, Cowboys fans are frustrated, angry, and, well, pissed-off. The once-great franchise will need their improved offense to carry them over the first four games of 2016, or else they may be in danger of missing the playoffs six of the last seven seasons.

But I have good news for you, Cowboys fans. Not only do I think our Cowboys will be okay for this season and still win the NFC East, you can also re-live some of the franchise’s greatness this August right on the internet!

NFL.com will be uploading 96 full-length games on YouTube this August, including three of the Cowboys’ five Super Bowl victories.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Super Bowl XXVII — Cowboys vs. Bills (42%)
Cowboys’ first Super Bowl win under Jimmy Johnson.

Super Bowl XII — Cowboys vs. Broncos (19%)
Cowboys’ 27-10 Super Bowl  win.

Super Bowl VI — Cowboys vs. Dolphins (16%)
Cowboys’ first Super Bowl win, 24-3.

Bob Lilly’s 29-yard sack of Bob Griese, Robert Newhouse’s touchdown pass to Golden Richards, and all 52 points scored against the Buffalo Bills can all be re-watched this summer on YouTube.

The Cowboys are also featured in 11 other games that will be uploaded, including battles with the Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Chicago Bears.

So while the current team may be having their issues, and some of us may be very frustrated with the team’s Super Bowl chances this season, you can relive some of this stress in August and remember what it’s like for the Dallas Cowboys to be crowned World Champions.
