2016 Fantasy Football Rankings: Preseason
Quarterbacks are by and far the most important position for any NFL team. If you don’t have a good or great one, your NFL team is going to have a tough road.
In Fantasy Football, however, it is possible to not draft one of the elite quarterbacks in the league and still win your championship. Depending on your league, you may want to wait until the end of your draft to select your quarterback.
Draft Strategy
In leagues that offer 6 points per passing touchdown or yardage bonuses, it may be more important to get your quarterback early. I usually run with the strategy of waiting until later in the draft to select my QB.
My favorite middle to late round quarterbacks are Tony Romo, Jameis Winston, Ryan Tannehill, and Robert Griffin III.
