The Dallas Cowboys did not get off to the start we all hoped for in week 1, falling at home to the New York Giants 20-19. While the vast world of Cowboys Twitter took the loss pretty hard at first, there was still some great stuff out there this week leading up to Sunday’s game in Washington.
It is Friday, it is football season, and it is time for another edition of Tweet Break on Inside The Star!
The Ezekiel Elliott Hype Train Powers On
While the Giants’ defense may have derailed Zeke Elliott’s regular season debut, the rookie running back continues to be a focal point around the league. Expectations are certainly still high for Elliott, as ESPN went ahead and included him in their new 2016 Monday Night Football introduction:

Cowboys Color Rush Game Revealed
The Cowboys are about to enter one of their more lopsided uniform match ups of the season, as they’ll roll into a game against the Redskins wearing their pristine white uniforms. Across from them, the home Redskins will be sporting their ugly mix of burgundy, yellow, and sadness.
Fast forward to the first of December, and we already know that the Cowboys Thursday Night Football game in Minnesota will feature two epic uniforms.

The NFL Color Rush uniforms have been revealed for a new season, and Dallas’ is unchanged from the 2015 Thanksgiving game. The Vikings will be sporting an all purple look at home in this game, which will still manage to make Sam Bradford look terrible.
New DL Ryan Davis Ready to Work
If you are a NFL player looking for a job, and you can rush the passer, the Dallas Cowboys are the team for you. Ryan Davis spent the past four seasons with the Jaguars proving he can do just that, before recently being signed by the Cowboys earlier this week.
The versatile player is ready to further his career under Rod Marinelli, and took to Twitter to share his excitement.
Thankful for this opportunity to be apart of The Dallas Cowboys, I'm ready to work…

Cowboys Lose, Chippewas Win, Dez Bryant Does Push Ups
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve already seen one of the best candidates for “play of the year” in college football from this past week. In ridiculous fashion, Central Michigan went on the road and knocked off Oklahoma State with a last-second hail mary like none other.

Central Michigan alum, and now Dallas Cowboys’ rookie safety Kavon Frazier, won a bet with Dez Bryant – the Oklahoma State graduate – thanks to this insane play.

Bryant owned up and did the push-ups as the loser of this bet. Surely he’ll trade a Oklahoma State Cowboys loss for a Dallas Cowboys win on Sunday, and a win that he hopefully makes a big impact on.
Inside The Star will have you covered for the rest of the weekend through the Cowboys game at noon on Sunday! You can follow me on Twitter @ShoreSportsNJ, and feel free to tag me in any tweets that you feel need to be included in the next edition of Tweet Break!
