The Dallas Cowboys defeated the banged-up Chicago Bears last night 31-17, but came out of the game sufficiently banged-up themselves.
On the game’s second play, Dez Bryant would convert a first down near the sideline before having his knee twisted awkwardly on the tackle. He would limp to the sidelines on his own power, and remain there despite reports that he exited for the locker room. In an even more encouraging sign, Bryant quickly returned to the field (along with Cole Beasley, who was injured on the play following Bryant’s), although he clearly did not look 100%.
The Cowboys’ star wide out was reduced to a decoy role for much of the remainder of the game, but he did come alive in the fourth quarter to be on the receiving end of Dak Prescott’s first touchdown pass of the season.
Bryant will undergo a MRI today to determine the extent of the damage.
Dez Bryant has low grade MCL sprain – same as Russell Wilson. Will have MRI to confirm. Key to return is comfort with brace.

Meanwhile, La’el Collins will also undergo a MRI today after exiting the game in the second quarter, and never returning – being instead replaced by Ron Leary at left guard. His injury was to his right big toe, and occurred one play before this:

Collins’ MRI results will tell us a lot more, but it is confirmed that his initial X-Ray was negative.
Hearing that La'el Collins injury is not a foot sprain but more of a turf toe problem. Like Dez Bryant will be waiting on MRI results.
