Tony Romo’s team is playing in just a few hours, as the Dallas Cowboys will be in San Francisco with a chance to get to 3-1 against the 49ers. To do so, they will need another solid performance from rookie QB Dak Prescott – who has made us all forget about ever missing Romo.
With that said, Cowboys Nation did receive some positive news when it comes to the return of #9 in 2016.
Tony Romo update: #Cowboys & Romo are targeting a Wk 8 return, post-bye. It’ll be 6 weeks Thurs, then he’ll ramp up conditioning & throwing
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 2, 2016
Dallas will host the Bengals in week 5 before traveling to play the Packers before the bye. After those two tough games and some rest, it could be time for Romo to do his thing. The Eagles are 3-0 on the season, so it will be fascinating to see how relevant they remain coming into this game at AT&T Stadium, where the pressure could be on Romo immediately.
The Dallas Cowboys are Tony Romo’s team, and we now have a clearer picture of when exactly he’ll be leading them to victory on the field once again in 2016. His star will still shine bright. That’s my quarterback.
