Your Dallas Cowboys Running Back – Ezekiel Elliott

Another game over 130 yards rushing for Ezekiel Elliott in week four.

No one is going to confuse the San Francisco run defense for a good run defense, but Elliott did what he had to do. He made the tough runs and he broke a few runs for more than 15 yards. He has been really good the last three weeks.

In week five the Dallas Cowboys face a Cincinnati Bengals team that has been pretty good against the run.

They are the 14th ranked run defense, having allowed only 92.25 rushing yards per game through four games in 2016.

While they may be middle of the pack in rushing yards allowed, they have only allowed 3.8 yards per carry and haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown in 2016.

The Dallas Cowboys have the most rushing touchdowns in the NFL through four weeks. The rushing attack ranks second in the NFL, averaging nearly 150 yards rushing a game as a team.

I like the Dallas Cowboys’ chances of breaking through for rushing scores this week.

Flawless Forecast: 22 carries for 105 yards and one touchdown.

Your Dallas Cowboys Running Back – Alfred Morris

Cowboys Headlines - Alfred Morris Completely Owns The NFC East 1Alfred Morris has watched his carry total go up and down this season. In week four, he received seven carries an turned that into a productive 34 yards rushing.

Morris has been up and down in his efficiency in 2016, one week good and one week bad.

With those rushing totals, he may be worth a roster stash in case of an injury, but he isn’t worth starting in most leagues.

In order to be worthy of a starting spot in your lineup, Morris will need to carve out a regular goal line role.

Flawless Forecast: Six carries for 35 yards and no touchdowns.
