When the Dallas Cowboys took care of the Cincinnati Bengals this past weekend, I was there. When Ezekiel Elliott ripped off a 60-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter… I could not hear myself think.
“ZEKE! ZEKE! ZEKE!” AT&T Stadium rang out like the ancient Roman Coliseum
The most valuable franchise in the world revolves around a 21-year old rookie sensation. That is incredible!
Cowboys Nation is well-familiar with the works of rookies this season. Rookie QB Dak Prescott has been sensational, and his efforts were rewarded with Pepsi Rookie of the Week honors last week. Huzzah for the Cowboys finally getting one on the board here since Philadelphia’s Carson Wentz already has two.
This week Zeke is nominated (Elliott was also nominated last week when Prescott won). It’s time that we add this hardware to his collection as well! Considering he and Dak are on-the-road roommates… it’s only fitting that they win these back-to-back.

If you want to vote for Zeke (you do, trust me) follow the simple instructions:
- Open a tweet.
- Enter the player’s name (Elliott).
- Use the hashtag #NFLROTW.
Zeke’s 546 yards (on 109 carries with 5 touchdowns as well) are the best in the NFL. He is undoubtedly the best rookie of the week. Let’s make sure that the world knows that, too.
