Travis Frederick’s Doomsday? Cowboys and Eagles Players Receive Tonight Show Superlatives

Sean Martin

Going up against the Cowboys offensive line may be perceived as doomsday for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, and center Travis Frederick is apparently more prepared than anyone for this occasion.

That is, if you’ve seen Jimmy Fallon hand out superlatives for players on both sides of this Sunday Night Football match up, which he did on The Tonight Show. Among the other Cowboys’ players profiled are LB Sean Lee and OL Joe Looney.

For the Eagles, Jason Peters’ superlative has the best chance of coming true on the field, as the Dallas defense will have a chance to beat up on an offensive line that has struggled with a well-rested DeMarcus Lawrence and friends.

Peters’ head is going to be popping out of his jersey after a hit from one of Rod Marinelli’s linemen – and then we’ll be able to say the same about Carson Wentz.

As for Philadelphia safety Rodney McLeod, there will be no lollipops after this NFC East war. If anyone will deserve a treat after the game, it is going to be the members of America’s Team – sitting in first place in the division.

These superlatives were fun. #VictoryPoloMonday will be better. Get here soon, Sunday.
