At just 21 years old and a rookie in the NFL, Ezekiel Elliott already has the football world in the palm of his hand. As the league’s leading rusher for America’s Team, Elliott is a bonafide star on one of the best teams in football, and one of the most recognizable brands in the entire world.
Just a few years ago, however, Zeke was still just a highschool kid. Just like many other high school boys, he participated in multiple sports: football (of course), track and field, and basketball. Unlike many other high school boys, Zeke was an absolute freak in all three sports.
Yes, even basketball, at just 6 feet tall.
On Monday, USA Football tweeted out a video of a younger Elliott playing high school basketball, and absolutely dominating!
.@EzekielElliott is a BEAST.
You can see the same ⚡️ quick moves he uses on the field during his days as a multi-sport athlete playing ????. pic.twitter.com/2nBNm6EoUV

Though you can tell he is shorter than some of the other players, he is certainly more athletic than every other player. I mean, how many high school kids can dunk on a defender on a fast break at just 6 feet tall and not go on to play college basketball?
That list has to be short, I would think.
Also pictured, Elliott’s leadership abilities even as he was just in high school. As the point guard position you can see him running the offense and directing his teammates around perfectly. That leadership and character has translated nicely to the NFL.
Luckily for us Cowboys fans, Zeke chose football over the other sports and we now get to watch him embarrass defenders just like that every Sunday.
Dude definitely had moves on the basketball court too. Gone are the days of two sport athletes, now kids are usually forced to choose one sport at and early age.
