Love him or hate him, if you are a sports fan, Joe Buck is a key part of your fan experience – serving as the voice for so many big moments in the NFL and MLB.
Yesterday, the Fox Sports play-by-play announcer was on my college campus here at Montclair State University, giving an interview to 90.3 WMSC-FM about everything from his career in broadcasting to his advice for aspiring sports media members.
Buck was also asked who he expects to see in Super Bowl LI, a game he will call on February 5th in Houston.
Currently with the best record in the NFL, Buck predicted the Dallas Cowboys to meet the New England Patriots in this game, with Dallas coming away with their sixth Super Bowl.
Despite a Sunday Night Football loss to the Seahawks at home, the Patriots sit at 7-2 on the season, in control of the AFC East once again – and turning their attention towards another Super Bowl run.
The narratives coming out of the Cowboys’ Super Bowl drought ending in Houston with a rookie starting quarterback and running back would be plentiful, and you know that Buck – who lives for moments like these – would nail all of them.
We have a Lombardi Trophy to go win. See you soon, Joe.
