Following their six point win over the lowly Bears on Sunday, Giants rookie WR Sterling Shepard took to Instagram to celebrate – and perhaps acknowledge the team that they’re still chasing at the top of the NFC East?

Shepard, New York’s second round pick out of Oklahoma, posted this picture with the caption “Dem boyz!”. Ezekiel Elliott, the far-and-away best rookie in the NFC East (and likely the league, along with his QB Dak Prescott), commented on the post to remind Shepard who the real “boyz” are.

So rookie class, what did we learn? The Dallas Cowboys are 9-1. The New York Giants are 7-3. Nine will always be greater than seven, and Zeke will always be better than Shepard.

Cowboys Nation also knows that we’ll be “Dem boyz!” forever. Its onto Thanksgiving.

What do you make of Shepard’s picture? Zeke’s comment? Let us know! Leave a comment below the article or email me at Sean.Martin@InsideTheStar.com.

    • Man, I loved him in the draft so much. Thought it was the Giants best pick too. He’s certainly made some huge plays.
