The NFL has been surrounded by negative press for the better part of the last few seasons, so it is always good to point out when players do more good than bad.
This week, when the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings face off in a key conference match-up, Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, cornerback Brandon Carr, and Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph will be wearing cleats in support of special causes, as part of the #MyCauseMyCleats movement.

Zeke has decided to further his efforts to find sheltered animals homes, and will be wearing these custom cleats in an effort to prevent animal cruelty. Anyone who follows Elliott on Snapchat knows how important his dog is to him, so his dedication to this cause is understandable.

Brandon Carr decided to wear cleats in support of his Carr Cares Foundation. “Flint” is written on the cleats to represent Carr’s hometown, a city which is still without clean water at this point. Carr has been instrumental in helping bring water to his hometown over the last few months.
Honored to wear these for #MyCauseMyCleats this week and represent all the kids and families at @UMNChildrens! #AntonTough pic.twitter.com/3FhJJ40wB0

Kyle Rudolph will be wearing cleats in support of the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital. He also added the hashtag “AntonTough” in remembrance of Anton Delgado, who Kyle made many visits with during the final moments of his life.
