When you’re 12-2, you celebrate… especially if you’re Ezekiel Elliott.
The Cowboys are back to their winning ways, and are now focused on the Detroit Lions. Before they fully move on from their last game before Christmas – a home win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Ezekiel Elliott is doing his part to make sure that Christmas is a little bit more merry for others, donating $21,000 to the Salvation Army.

Zeke’s jump-in-the-Salvation-Army-kettle celebration got a lot of people excited, so much so that the Salvation Army experienced a drastic increase in donations. The NFL typically fines players for celebrations like these, but chose not to do so. While we would prefer to believe that the NFL properly recognized the importance of the situation, the lack of a fine is likely due to an unwillingness to challenge the massive wave of support Zeke received.
Ezekiel Elliott took a celebration and generated an enormous amount of money for a great cause. He wasn’t fined for it, but he still did his part to help by digging out of his own pocket. This guy is perfect.
