Dallas Cowboys Debut Official Bandwagon Fan Application

RJ Ochoa

When you go 13-3 in the regular season, obtain the #1 seed in your conference, and have two players that have achieved massive stardom while being in the mix for the league’s Most Valuable Player Award… people are interested.

Not only are people interested in the Dallas Cowboys and Cowboys Nation, but now they’re interested in becoming a part of Cowboys Nation. That’s right, you know who we’re talking about, people near and far that have long chastised America’s Team are suddenly huge fans of them. There’s a name for these type of folk – Bandwagon Fans.

The Dallas Cowboys have had a lot of people trying to jump on the bandwagon, so much so that their official Twitter account tweeted out a “Bandwagon Fan Application” for these people.

The application asks these people to identify some lesser-known Cowboys, and somewhat insinuates that these people jumped on when Ezekiel Elliott was drafted. The best part about this is that the “application” takes a shot at the division rivals, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Green Bay Packers. Life isn’t as great for people who aren’t Cowboys fans.

We all know what it’s like to deal with Bandwagon Fans. They said we couldn’t do it, now they’re rocking our jerseys. They screamed the Front Office made bad moves, but now they want awards for them. Whatever the Bandwagon Fans are currently saying, at some point in recent history they were surely saying the opposite.

Go ahead and send this Bandwagon Fan Application to the Bandwagon Fans you know. Let them know that they can technically be a part of the ride, but they’ll never know the glory truly associated with living through all the highs and lows.

Those are all ours.
