Cowboys’ Stars Relaxed, Lively In Preparation For Pro Bowl

Kevin Brady

While we would all rather them be readying for Super Bowl 51, many of the Dallas Cowboys star players and coaches are currently in Orlando, Florida preparing for the Pro Bowl this Sunday.

Yeah, “preparing.”

But no matter what you think about the Pro Bowl, I have always found it enjoyable to follow as the league’s best players get together one last time before the season finally breaks. It is also always awesome (little alliteration for you guys) to see how first and second time Pro Bowlers enjoy their first time in the league’s all star game.

For this year’s Cowboys, there are a few guys who are experiencing one of their earliest Pro Bowl appearances. And to put it simply, they seem to be enjoying themselves.

Zeke The Pass Rusher

Everyone knows the Cowboys need to add a pass rusher this offseason, but maybe the answer is already on their roster! Also, be thankful that Dak Prescott doesn’t have to protect himself from defensive linemen in the pocket, because that’s some ugly form from our franchise quarterback.

Zeke the corner!

Yeah, Dez Bryant is pretty tough to cover. His teammate and other third of the new-looked triplets, Ezekiel Elliott, found out just how difficult it is this week at practice. Zeke might be a better edge rusher than he is cornerback, based on these videos (I’m not serious, guys).

Piesman Trophy Finalists

Our man Clarence Hill Jr. might have spelled Zack Martin’s name wrong, but this video is still pretty awesome. As they did before just about every game this season, Martin and center Travis Frederick were out running routes and catching balls at the Pro Bowl, getting ready for the game on Sunday.

Offensive linemen playing receiver is also one of my favorite things in this world, so this video is great.

The Triplets

The Whole Squad

Enjoy this, Cowboys fans. I know it hurts to not be representing the NFC in the Super Bowl next week, but there is something special brewing in Dallas. And while they are taking a pit-stop in Orlando this week, the Cowboys will be excited and ready to go as soon as the 2017 season opens.
