Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys braintrust are going to spend this offseason building a team that will hopefully win Super Bowl LII, but Mr. Jones and his family will also be planning a trip to Canton, OH this August when he is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
It was a fateful night in Houston – Saturday, February 4th – when the Dallas Cowboys Owner, President, and General Manager got the news about his inevitable Gold Jacket and Bronze Bust.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame is football’s most illustrious fraternity. Jerry Jones and his now forever-place there mark his contributions to the game as one worthy of the gold jacket. While it was somewhat of a foregone conclusion that Mr. Jones would receive this honor once nominated, the almost-inevitable news was incredibly well-received.
In this video you can see Jerry, son Stephen, daughter Charlotte, wife Gene, and the rest of their family celebrate when they get the all-important “knock” from Pro Football Hall of Fame President David Baker. It’s moments like these that people remember forever, and as someone who has revolutionized the game of football and the NFL in the capacity that Jerry has, this moment was extremely well-deserved.
We here at Inside The Star are extremely happy for Jerry Jones, his family, and the Dallas Cowboys organization. This video will never get old.
