I’ve talked about some strange things here at Inside The Star – one time I even legitimately wrote about pants – but I have to say that this is a first. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo trolled late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel about this weekend’s upcoming Oscars.
When it's time for Jimmy Kimmel's Oscars prep, who he gonna call? Tony Romo, obviously. https://t.co/rrDPzPi6iT pic.twitter.com/2Td1wH3YoW

Tony Romo is quite the charming fella, and we’ve seen that charisma on display with Jimmy Kimmel before. Almost two years ago now, Romo made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss the future of the Dallas Cowboys… oh Tony, if you’d only known then what you do now.
Antonio Ramiro Romo (ARR as he’s sometimes known, ok never known but it sounds like a pirate so go with it) is back in the Entertainment headlines with Mr. Kimmel once again, this time trolling Jimmy about his preparation for hosting the Oscars this weekend.
While being interviewed by E! News’ Jason Kennedy, Jimmy is told that his favorite athlete in the world is being called (Kimmel jokingly refers to Peyton Manning). Tony answers – while playing golf, mind you – and tells Jimmy, “Just don’t f–k up the Oscars,” in a light-hearted way.
This is likely the last if not one of the last headlines Tony Romo will make as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. His future has been discussed at great length already this offseason, and with Free Agency and the all-important date of March 9th creeping ever closer… well if there’s an Oscar for saddest moment of 2017, we’ll have an early contender.
