The Dallas Cowboys have closed out their 2017 NFL Draft with seven new players on the defensive side of the ball and two offensive, adding another Colorado player in DT Jordan Carrell.
Carrell recorded five sacks in 2016 in the Pac-12, and like the other defensive tackle the Cowboys added in this round – Florida’s Joey Ivie – he comes with a patented high motor and consistent effort.
Spent time Cowboys pick Jordan Carrell on my trip to Colorado. Another blue collar workhorse who grinds, high motor smart and respected

I’ve already mentioned that Dallas’ strength in numbers on the defensive line is on the interior at DT, but reps will be needed over the summer in training camp and the preseason. Jordan will get a chance to earn these snaps and prove himself, as Rod Marinelli made the Cowboys war room his temporary home over the weekend talking to his new players.
