Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are a lot of things to a lot of people. They’re world-class athletes, ball handler and ball recipient, the future of the Dallas Cowboys, and oh yes they’re total and complete best friends.

Saturday, May 13th marked UFC211 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. If you follow most of the Cowboys on social media platforms then you likely saw Anthony Brown and Lucky Whitehead there as well. No offense to either Anthony or Luck though, but they don’t necessarily command the stage that both Dak and Zeke do.
In fact Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are such celebrities in the DFW metroplex that their fans wanted to take pictures with them. Among Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott’s biggest fans? Just Dallas Cowboys legendary Wide Receiver Michael Irvin. “The Playmaker” himself stuck himself right between the two Pro Bowlers to make a Dak-Irvin-Zeke version of “The Triplets.”

Michael Irvin took page out of his own playbook to take it a step further and even said “RINGS COMING SOON” in his caption on his photo. Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott certainly look to cash in on Irvin’s proclamation as the Cowboys – as we’re all painfully aware – haven’t won the Super Bowl in a long, long time.
It’s not shocking to see Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott hanging out together, whether that’s at UFC211 or in opposing endzones. The bond these two share was well-documented over the 2016 campaign – Dak and Zeke 2020 – and seems to be the one that Tony Romo and Jason Witten shared long ago reincarnated.
As fans of sports teams we like to envision that the players are actual friends off the field and in their personal lives. When they don’t seem to be it disrupts the reality that sports create. Dak and Zeke’s friendship is something that Dallas Cowboys fans enjoy because it takes what we experience on the field to all sorts of places… and most recently UFC211.
