The history of professional football cannot be told without Dallas Cowboys Owner, President, and General Manager Jerry Jones. For this reason, and an endless amount of other iconic moments including Jones winning three Super Bowls with the Cowboys, raising the value of America’s Team to $4.2 billion, and being at the forefront of policy change in the NFL, Jerry’s much-deserved gold jacket reception was as grand as one would expect from the Pro Football Hall of Fame last night.
A day after Jones’ Cowboys defeated the Cardinals in the Hall of Fame game, Jerry was presented by his wife Gene Jones with the gold jacket that he will wear publicly tomorrow to deliver a Hall of Fame worthy speech that surely will have Cowboys Nation hung on every word.
Jerry-isms are about to be at an all-time high.

On Thursday night, Jerry Jones walked out on to the field at Tom Benson Stadium along with the rest of the 2017 Hall of Fame class, doing so in front of a Cowboys team that he should undoubtedly be proud of. They are the reigning NFC East champions, closer than ever it seems to an elusive fourth Super Bowl that Jones has chased since 1996 – when they won their fifth overall.
Even still, it would be hard to compare this moment to the one on Friday night captured by former Cowboys QB Tony Romo, as Jones came off the stage to meet Dallas’ members of the Hall of Fame that built their legacy alongside Jerry’s.

There were nothing but overwhelmingly positive reviews of the party that Mr. Jones threw from Canton Friday, a reflection of just how many lives he has touched since purchasing the team in 1989.
Tomorrow, an all-around stellar weekend for the Cowboys will conclude with Jones getting a chance to now publicly thank and appreciate everyone that helped him get to this point – wearing a gold jacket in Canton that’s been destined for his shoulder for so very long.
