According to two reputable sources, Thursday night’s preseason finale between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans has been cancelled in the wake of Hurricane Harvey’s impact on the Houston metro area.
The news came from a recent series of tweets by NFL Network reporters Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo:
From @MikeGarafolo & me: The #Texans vs #Cowboys preseason game for Thursday in Arlington has been canceled.

Point of the cancellation is for players to get back to Houston, help out and be with their families.

Obviously, the Texans organization has plenty of other concerns right now with the disaster in their area. The Cowboys have already had four preseason games, having played on Hall of Fame weekend, and are also currently involved in relief efforts.
For those who purchased tickets to the game:
Fans who purchased tickets can get refund or have that money go to Hurricane Harvey relief.
