BREAKING: Former Cowboys WR Terry Glenn Dies in Car Accident

Jess Haynie

We are saddened to learn that former Dallas Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn passed away this morning following a car accident. He was 43-years-old.

Two former NFL players, one of them a past teammate of Glenn’s, shared the news on Twitter.

Terry Glenn played with the Cowboys from 2003-2007, being brought in by Bill Parcells after their time together with the New England Patriots. Glenn had two 1,000-yard seasons in 2005 and 2006, mostly with Drew Bledsoe but also the beginning of Tony Romo’s run as the starting quarterback. Despite his relatively short time with the Cowboys, Glenn ranks 15th all-time in receiving yards and touchdowns for the franchise.

Inside The Star offers our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Terry Glenn in this time of tragedy.

  1. Consummate NFL receiver with speed, hands, excellent route runner. One of the best FA acquisitions of the Parcells years in Dallas.

This goes up there with some of the other early deaths in the Cowboys family like Harvey Martin and Mark Tuinei. RIP Terry Glenn.
