Already in the roster retooling phase of their 2018 season, with one game left on a 2017 campaign full of surprising struggles on offense, the Cowboys have signed former Baylor WR K.D. Cannon to their practice squad.
Cannon had worked out for the Dallas Cowboys last week, and now joins a team in need of fresh talent at WR. Officially, this will be the 2017 UDFA rookie’s fourth team of the year.

Initially signed by the 49ers, Cannon has seen time with the Jets and LA Rams this season. With Brice Butler on an expiring contract, K.D. Cannon could prove a much cheaper and younger option to add some speed and big-play ability on the outside should he stick with the Cowboys.
