The Cowboys finally added a pass rusher in the 2016 draft, selecting Oklahoma’s Charles Tapper with the 101st pick.

Tapper was a standout at the NFL Scouting Combine, running a 4.59 time in the 40-yard-dash. He’s listed at 6’3″ and 271 pounds.
Coincidentally, his NFL.com draft profile compares him to another Cowboy in Jack Crawford. Tapper may be more of a pure pass rusher than Crawford. If he can at least be as useful on gamedays as Crawford has proven to be, that’s nice value from a fourth-round pick.
Tapper has already expressed his feelings about becoming a Cowboy:
America Team baby???????????????????????? thank you so much @dallascowboys !!! Y'all will get everything I have in me to be great!!!!
