The Dallas Cowboys have said they ‘really like’ free-agent OT Tyson Clabo.
The Cowboys have yet to make a decision regarding Clabo, and maybe its because they are waiting on someone else.
They have asked Doug Free to take a pay cut from his $7 million salary he is promised this year to help save money against the salary cap and upgrade.
Jerry Jones expressed Saturday that they want to make the decision with Free ‘sooner rather than later.’
Free needs to make the decision about whether he is okay with the pay cut, or wants to take his chance at testing the market.
But, the Cowboys need to act fast regarding Clabo. The Miami Dolphins hosted Clabo on Tuesday, expressing an interest in him.
Dallas is in a cap crunch, but we all know upgrades on the offense side will be wise.
We will bring you more on Clabo as it unfolds.
