After two years with the team, Dan Bailey inks long-term deal worth $23mil.

Today the Dallas Cowboys have closed up their rather clutch kicker Dan Bailey to a seven year deal worth an estimated $3.3 million per year. After a long and tumultuous road the Cowboys have finally found a kicker they can rely on. Personally I’ve relied on him in my fantasy leagues since last year, and he never let me down. Good news.

Bailey has a 90.8 career FG percentage and is currently eleven of sixteen on kicks greater than 50 yards.

In other news, Anthony Spencer, after some health issues in the 2013 season, is on the road to recovery and eying a new contract after receiving the teams’ Franchise Tag in 2012 and 2013. Per his agent, Jordan Woy, Spencer is prepared to take a one to two year “prove-it” deal to demonstrate his ability post-microfracture surgery.
