[tps_title]Stephen Jones: Stringer Bell[/tps_title]
String learns the ways of the game while playing alongside Avon, the seasoned veteran of West Baltimore drug dealing. But once Avon is locked up, String steps up and leads the operation in his own way. He is more business savvy than Avon, and attempts to keep the peace among other crews while trying to play the game “smart.”
Stephen Jones is the same way. He has learned the business side from Jerry, and the football side from other great football minds. And when he gets put in charge, he stresses smart spending and moves during free agency.
Unfortunately for both String and Jones, they are sometimes too smart for their own good, and overthink themselves, causing problems for both.
Nicely written. Good job!
I love this so much. Great work, Kevin! A few more that I'd throw in there… Jason Garrett = Cedric Daniels (Straight-laced leaders who want to do things the right way.) Cole Beasley = Kima Greggs (Overcomes the physical odds to hang with the big boys.) Dan Bailey = Prop Joe (Never gets rattled.) Scandrick/Carr/Claiborne = Herc/Carver/Prezbo (Some major liability issues.) Some non-Cowboys, too…. Chip Kelly = Bunny Colvin (Disgraced after a failed experiment.) Eli Manning = Dukie (self-explanatory) Roger Goodell = Clay Davs (Everything that comes out of their mouth is "Sheeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiit.")
