You did not dream that. Last night we all did indeed watch an actual NFL game! And it was glorious!
Our football palates were given a tasty treat last night when the 2015 season kicked off with the World Champion Patriots unveiling their banner and cleaning out the Pittsburgh Steelers’ clock.
The Dallas Cowboys are looking to have similar success against the New York Giants this Sunday Night on NBC. That one shining moment is 2 days from now and to celebrate we’re going to continue our Countdown To Kickoff with the Greatest 2 in Dallas Cowboys History.

#2: Lin Elliott
The Dallas Cowboys were looking for competition at the kicker position during the 1992 training camp. There was an undrafted player out of Texas Tech that they figured they’d give a shot to, Mr. Lin Elliott.
He came in and won the job, replacing Ken Willis, and had a great 1992 season. At one point he registered 13 straight field goals, which was at the time a franchise record.
The Deuce played a season and two games with the Cowboys before being waived in 1993; however, his contributions to the 1992 World Champion Dallas Cowboys are enough to deem him the Greatest 2 in Dallas Cowboys History.
Check back tomorrow to find out who the Greatest 1 in Dallas Cowboys History is!
