I am officially retiring from sending Staff Writer RJ Ochoa weekly bold predictions. As I predicted for the Giants game, Lucky Whitehead was going to score a special teams touchdown at MetLife Stadium.
Now, the second-year player will not even be in attendance, left in Dallas for a violation of a team rule.
Lucky Whitehead will not play Sunday vs NYG. The Cowboys are leaving him in Dallas for a violation of team rules.

Whitehead had carved out a role in the Cowboys offense by taking jet sweeps to open up the tight running game, and that element will now be missing while the Cowboys try to wrap up the NFC East.
Always active on social media, Whitehead actually deleted some posts from both his Snapchat and Instagram accounts that were posted on Friday night. Perhaps those pictures would provide a glimpse into what Whitehead did to be left in Dallas this weekend, but the only one that’s survived is this innocent-enough snap chat of him at dinner with some team mates.
Lucky Whitehead is breaking bread with the Defensive Linemen. I want Rod Marinelli to send him on a blitz. ???? (h/t @ninjafast22 Instagram) pic.twitter.com/HWXgjtrqvt

For Sunday night now, Cole Beasley will likely be back deep on every punt, playing at the Giants for the first time since fumbling a punt that ended last year’s divisional loss there.
Lance Dunbar, or perhaps even Darius Jackson (who could see the active roster with Whitehead down), will likely return kicks.
This is December football, and the 11-1 Cowboys need all hands on deck to reach the goals in front of them. Now, they will be without Lucky Whitehead for Sunday Night Football.
