Cowboys Legend Charles Haley Says He’s Done With Randy Gregory

RJ Ochoa

Randy Gregory… what is there left to say about the Cowboys’ 2015 2nd Round Draft Pick? There isn’t much, and even Dallas Cowboys legend Charles Haley feels that way. On 105.3 The Fan today, Haley said that he’s done with Randy Gregory.

Last Friday word started leaking out that Randy Gregory had missed/failed yet another drug test. He’s had people like Charles Haley in his corner since being drafted, because Haley knows a thing or two about dealing with demons while playing in the NFL.

While Charles Haley is joined by most members of Cowboys Nation in wishing Randy the best but doubting he ever contributes as a football player, Dallas Cowboys Owner/President/General Manager feels a little differently.

We all want the best for Randy Gregory in his life, but we also all get where Charles Haley is coming from. This has been a rough ride since the very beginning.

  1. They need to cut him loose and he’ll either help himself or sink into that world, only he can help himself!!!

  2. While I know there is no risk or gamble keeping him in the roster there is the perception of enabling and condoning behavior. In reality many teams would have already given up. Some people will skewer JJ for sticking with him but he has a hard time letting go. Personally I say cut him. He won’t be back in the league until 2018 and he hasn’t shown anything that makes me want to stand up for him.
