Cowboys Vs Buccaneers Week 15 Game Flexed, Extends Streak of Prime Time Match Ups

Sean Martin

If somebody ever tries to tell you that the Dallas Cowboys are not America’s Team anymore, just show them their 2016 schedule. In the midst of a franchise-record 11 game winning, the Cowboys have been the NFL’s answer to their “ratings drop”.

With the NFC playoff picture coming into focus, and the Cowboys already securing their spot in the dance, Dallas’ week 15 home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has been flexed into Sunday Night Football.

Welp. Dallas-Tampa has officially been flexed to @SNFonNBC. Cowboys' next three games are on in primetime.

This means that, since Thanksgiving, the Cowboys have appeared on Thursday Night Football against the Vikings, and will now play two straight Sunday night games against the Giants and Buccaneers before hosting the Lions on Monday Night Football in Week 16.

Dallas’ win in Minnesota already set a TNF viewership record, and their showdown against the Giants – with a win securing the NFC East – projects to draw quite the viewership as well.

Tampa Bay has won four in a row, so this will be another pivotal prime time game featuring the silver and blue. The NFL loves it.

Cowboys Nation does too. We’ll see you under the lights.
