After last week’s win over the Redskins, the Cowboys remain alive and well in a seriously challenged division. A 4-8 record (3-2 in the division) has the Cowboys still in the hunt for the playoffs due to the poor records throughout the division.
But the Packers might have other ideas in mind.
Green Bay started the season strong with 6 straight victories, only to fall short to the Lions and skid out of control through another 3 games to an 8-4 record. Their 3-game slide ended when they went to Minnesota to take on the then-division leading Vikings to save the lead for themselves. Then a loss to the Bears sent them back to the Lions for a last second game-winning hail mary after a bogus facemask penalty on what should have been the final play of the game.
The Packers aren’t the team everyone thought they would be this year, and neither are the Dallas Cowboys.
With Tony Romo still on the team’s active roster and a chance for a much-anticipated rematch after “the catch”, the Cowboys need to knock off the Packers today to keep their Cinderella dreams of post-season play alive in 2015.
