The Dallas Cowboys have just one more “meaningless” regular season game remaining before they focus on the playoffs. With the NFC East, home-field advantage, and the NFC’s #1 overall seed already locked up, there’s no surprise that the Cowboys may not look the part of a Super Bowl contender for four full quarters on Sunday in Philadelphia.
Particularly on the offensive line, reinforcements have been called upon in the form of practice squad guard and center Ryan Seymour. Seymour takes the spot of the previously waived WR Vince Mayle.

Seymour should see playing time against the Eagles, with left tackle Tyron Smith already ruled out and left guard Ron Leary listed as questionable. The depth behind Dallas’ superb starters on the offensive front is anything but great, so Seymour could feasibly be playing for a spot on this team long-term.
On the Cowboys’ practice squad since October, Seymour has only started three games in his career – which started with the Seattle Seahawks in 2013 as a 7th round draft pick. He has since been with the 49ers, Bears, Saints, Giants, and Browns.
