Jasper Brinkley signed a two-year deal this offseason with the Cowboys that guaranteed him two million dollars. He was released yesterday to make room for tackle Jordan Mills and now according to Ian Rapoport he will now a member of the New York Giants.

While some may think that the signing is simply to try and pump him for information the Giants actually have a need at linebacker.
Current starting middle linebacker Jon Beason’s status is currently up in the air for Sunday night’s game against the Cowboys.
The former fifth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings started 11 games last season and recorded 75 tackles and a sack. The contract details have yet to be released.
