MRI or no MRI, the Dez Bryant news finally dropped. Dez Bryant has a hairline fracture in his knee. Sigh.
Jason Garrett says Dez Bryant has a hairline fracture in his knee but calls it day by day, week by week thing. Hopeful he can play vs 49ers

This is gigantic news for Dez Bryant and for the Dallas Cowboys who are sitting on a 2-1 record and coming off of a promising win at home against the Chicago Bears. If he misses any time that is going to be very difficult for a team that is already fielding rookies at both quarterback and running back.
Dak Prescott’s favorite target through three games hasn’t been Dez Bryant, though; it’s been Cole Beasley. If Dez does indeed have to miss a game the Cowboys offense is seemingly prepared, and can run all day long between Zeke and Alfred Morris.
Dez Bryant is a physical specimen and will absolutely not want to miss a game, but the Cowboys need to be cautious here. A season ago they let Dez play through a foot injury that ultimately hindered his and the team’s overall potential.
