Fred Jackson
If someone in your league has dropped Jackson pick him up asap. Not only should Jackson be back week 11 or 12, but CJ Spiller has been put on IR and is out for the season. When he returns, Jackson should get a bulk of Buffalo’s carries and catches out of the backfield. If you need a deeper find, Bryce Brown should get a nice number of touches going forward. He’s listed behind Anthony Dixon on the depth chart but his talent is undeniable and the Bills play some weak defenses during the fantasy playoffs.
Charles Sims
Sims is eligible to play this week for the first time this year after fracturing his ankle in August. Sims was the 69th overall pick in May’s draft and is a natural pass catcher. With Doug Martin spotted in a walking boot Wednesday, and the new coaching staff having no loyalty to him or Bobby Rainey, it is very possible Sims could emerge as the lead back.
Donte Moncrief
Moncrief is a guy that’s going to get a lot of buzz after putting up a 7/113/1 stat line in week 8. At 6’2 221lbs Moncrief is a physical freak; at his combine he ran a 4.40, posted a 39.5 vertical, along with an 11ft broad jump. Barely turning 21 this summer, Moncrief is still learning the game but already looks like a better option than starting WR Hakeem Nicks. In the Colts explosive offense Moncrief is certainly a high-ceiling add.
Martavis Bryant
With 3 TDs in his first 2 active games Bryant should be added if you need help at WR. At 6’4 211lbs, he’s a huge red zone threat and should get a lot of open looks with teammate Antonio Brown demanding so much attention, looking like the best WR in football.
Tre Mason
The Rams offense is a mess right now, their offensive line is banged up, it’s a full-blown RBBC with each of the 3 RBs getting an equal share, and they play a very good run defense this week against the 49ers. That being said, Mason has the most running talent of the 3 backs and should emerge as the lead back. St. Louis hasn’t hesitated with keeping the hot hand going in a game so Mason is worth a stash to see if the Rams’ running game can get things together.
Justin Hunter
Justin Hunter was just on my sell list a couple of weeks ago after not doing much of anything this season, however the Titans just made a QB change to rookie gunslinger Zach Mettenberger. Mettenberger has a big arm and although will most likely throw more interceptions than the previous 2 QBs, he will also give them more chances to make big plays. Hunter is worth a stash to see if him and the rookie develop chemistry.
Kyle Rudolph
Rudolph is aiming for a week 11 return and is instantly a startable TE if you need one. With rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater the starter, Rudolph would make for a nice security blanket and is Minnesota’s best red zone threat.
