The new league year will begin March 11th and will mark the beginning of free agency for the Dallas Cowboys. While the first wave is expected to go without much noise from the Cowboys, there are some second or third wave players the Cowboys could benefit from signing at discounted prices.
It’s important to remember that the Cowboys are $20+ million over the cap, so we must remain realistic. Nevertheless, additions need to be made to improve a porous defense where holes are glaring.

Yup! Going to be hard. The League upped the CAP to $130M which will be helpful! The team has some options and will be able to add a player or two but they’ll have to be thrifty and smart! As you see, I didn’t pick up too many over-priced FA’s, I tried to keep it sensible, cheap and worthwhile.
I would look at Michael Bennett, or Michael Johnson if Ware is cut.
