The Cowboys’ defense suffers another blow to a pass rusher.
After initially being on the injury report for an illness, DE Jeremy Mincey has been diagnosed with a concussion and is officially ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Without Mincey, look for the cowboys to start Jack Crawford in his place.
Backing up Crawford will be rookie Ryan Russell out of Purdue. Another option that has been thrown around is the idea of 3 technique Tyrone Crawford getting snaps at DE, something he has done in the past.

Losing another pass rusher is tough, considering the Cowboys are already without Greg Hardy and Randy Gregory for at least a couple more games.
The silver lining in all of this will be seeing how Jack Crawford – and especially Ryan Russell – respond to more snaps.
