It appears that the Dallas Cowboys have avoided a major injury to starting left guard Ronald Leary, who exited Sunday’s win in Cleveland during the fourth quarter with a head injury.
With the game well in hand, Leary did not return, as Joe Looney replaced him along the line. It was then reported that Leary would go through the concussion protocol, with little fear that a serious injury took place.
Jason Garrett on @1053thefan: Ron Leary was put in concussion protocol but seemed to be fine after the game. Everybody optimistic on our end

Leary himself even took to Twitter yesterday to update his status following the Cowboys’ win.
Another great win for the squad! #CowboysNation …… And I'm all good. Preciate it

Now, just moments ago, Head Coach Jason Garrett definitively addressed the status of one of his team’s unsung heroes this season.
Garrett on Leary – "He seemed fine after the ball game. We'll take his situation day by day." No other injures to speak of.

Jason Garrett says Ron Leary seemed fine after the game last night. "Day by day" as usual, but sounds like Leary might be able to practice.

Leary was at the center of plenty of controversy this summer, upset over losing his starting job to second-year player La’el Collins. With Collins now on injured reserve, Leary has filled in perfectly next to Tyron Smith and Travis Frederick – quickly changing how Cowboys Nation members felt about him.
It looks like Ron Leary should be good to go for Dallas’ week 9 game at the Steelers on Sunday. The Space Cowboys will be at full strength, in search of their eighth straight win.
I believe Romo and Prescott are the best 2 duel in Dallas history hands down
They’re both pretty good at football. Thanks for reading, Kennis.
how about Chaz?
Chaz Green participated in practice today and was limited.
