Friday got off to a great start for Cowboys Nation. Ahead of the Cowboys’ week nine home game against the Chiefs, it was announced early in the morning that RB Ezekiel Elliott would be eligible to play as the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the recent decision to not uphold his suspension.
This news broke as I was preparing for my weekly radio show Upon Further Review, and well-known Cowboys fan plus Syracuse law student Mighty was ready to jump in to give the latest on this case.
In the WMSC interview above, we discussed the Judge Failia ruling that shocked those following Elliott’s story and made it likely that he would not play for the next six games starting Sunday.
With Elliott now living to fight another day, we also got into the NFLPA’s overall power gained through this case when it comes to how they’ll be able to handle future disputes against the NFL in preparation for negotiating a new CBA.
Concluding with Mighty’s prediction for the game tomorrow, this segment will catch any fans up on where Ezekiel Elliott stands as of this very moment. If you enjoy it, be sure to catch Upon Further Review every Friday on WMSC!
