“When you’re a 15-year-old kid listening to it, it means something to you. Then at different stages of your life it means different things to you. So he’s certainly been someone who’s been a part of my life for a long time.”

As the boss of the Cowboys, Garrett is hoping that 2015 can be a season where he makes his mark as a head coach.
Garrett also picked the album’s headline song, “Born to Run”, as his favorite amongst the greats on the album. He explained that, although never being a song-writer, he felt there is a point in decision making where things align perfectly.
This was the case for the E Street Band during recording of the album in 1975.

Garret’s decision making certainly improved in 2014, when the team went back to their roots and pounded the football with DeMarco Murray.
Now in 2015, Garrett will continue to show why he is indeed born to run – leading Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden, Lance Dunbar and the core of running backs to where this team wants to go – Super Bowl 50.
But don’t expect a big reaction from Garrett, he’ll tell you it was supposed to happen – just like Bruce’s masterpiece.
